Connecting Souls is growing, and we’re looking for people across the UK and Northern Ireland who would love to bring our unique connection events to their local area.
This isn’t a free social group and it’s not a volunteer role. Connecting Souls Hosts operate licensed, ticketed events in their own local area, using an established brand, event format and support system.

What is a Connecting Souls Host?
A Connecting Souls Host is someone who brings our Light-hearted Speed Connections events to their local community. You organise and host the events locally, welcome your guests and build your own Connecting Souls community.
We provide the framework, brand, event format, resources and support to help you get started. You don’t have to create an event concept from scratch. We’ve already created it for you.
This is a Licensed Business Opportunity
Connecting Souls is a commercial business. Our Hosts purchase a licence that gives them permission to operate Connecting Souls events in their chosen local area. Your Host Licence gives you access to:
- The Connecting Souls brand
- The Connecting Souls event concept
- Our unique Light-hearted Speed Connections format
- Host guidance and event structure
- Conversation resources
- Promotional and marketing templates
- Guidance to help you establish your local events
- Your Connecting Souls Host listing
- Ongoing Host support
- The opportunity to build your own local Connecting Souls community
Your role is to take the concept into your local area and make it your own within the Connecting Souls framework.
Why Do Guests Pay to Attend?
Connecting Souls events are ticketed events, rather than free social-media meetups. Guests are paying for an organised experience designed to make meeting new people easier, more relaxed and more enjoyable.
They aren’t simply paying to walk into a room. They’re coming to a structured Connecting Souls event with a unique format, guided conversations and the opportunity to meet a number of new people in one evening.
Our standard event ticket is £10 per person.
Why Is There a Host Licence?
This is an important question and one we want to answer clearly: the Host Licence isn’t a fee to attend Connecting Souls events. It is the licence for you to operate as a Connecting Souls Host in your local area.
Rather than asking you to develop your own brand, create an event format, develop promotional materials and work everything out from the beginning, we’ve already created the foundations.
Your licence gives you access to the Connecting Souls brand, systems, resources and support that we’ve developed. You’re investing in the opportunity to build something locally using an established concept.
From Guest to Host

When I first saw Amanda’s advert for Connecting Souls on Facebook, something about it caught my attention. The idea was powerful, bringing people together through genuine conversation and connection.
I reached out to Amanda, and from our very first conversation, her passion for Connecting Souls was obvious. Before long, she entrusted me with the opportunity to host the Eastbourne events, which was both exciting and slightly terrifying!
Walking into my first event with 16 guests, I was definitely feeling nervous. Thankfully, those nerves didn’t last long. The room quickly filled with laughter, interesting conversations, and people connecting with others they would probably never have met otherwise. Every guest left with positive feedback and a smile on their face, which speaks volumes about the concept Amanda has created. In a world where people often feel disconnected, Connecting Souls offers something refreshingly different, real conversations with real people.
Amanda hasn’t just created an event, she’s created opportunities for friendships, confidence, support, and community. I’m incredibly grateful that she gave me the chance to bring Connecting Souls to Eastbourne and trusted me to be part of her vision. And for that, Amanda, thank you. What Does a Host Actually Do?
You Don’t Need To Be a Professional Event Organiser
As a Host, you will:
- Find and work with a suitable local venue
- Promote your Connecting Souls events
- Welcome your guests
- Follow the Connecting Souls event format
- Help the evening run smoothly
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Encourage people to return
- Build awareness of Connecting Souls in your area
- Develop your own local community
Your success will depend on the time, energy and commitment you put into building your local events.

The Connecting Souls Event
Our signature event is Light-hearted Speed Connections. It’s designed to take away some of the awkwardness of walking into a room full of strangers. Guests take part in short conversations, meeting different people throughout the event.
There is no pressure to be the most confident person in the room. No standing around wondering who to approach – just simple prompts, short conversations, laughter and the opportunity to discover who you connect with.
And when the structured part of the evening finishes, guests can continue conversations naturally.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy bringing people together.
You might already be:
- A therapist
- A coach
- A holistic practitioner
- A community organiser
- A group leader
- An event organiser
- Someone with an existing local audience
- Someone who enjoys meeting new people
Or simply someone who has always thought: “There should be something like this in my town.”
- You don’t need hundreds of followers.
- You don’t need previous event-management experience.
- You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room.
You do need to be reliable, welcoming and prepared to put the work into building your local events.

We’re building a network of Connecting Souls Hosts across the UK and Northern Ireland.
We can’t personally run an event in every town. That’s where you come in.
